Elk Run Camp, West Grove, PA At Elk Run Stables, riders have their choice of English Horsemanship, Western, Cross Country, Native American or Showmanship camps, all presented in a safe, and family-friendly atmosphere. Campers are ages 7 to 16 and family discounts are available. Camp begins each day at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. with before and after care available at reasonable rates. Hidden Creek Equestrian Center , Bridgeton , NJ ¡ A weekend camp for ultra-busy adult riders! There are three sessions; July 21-22, August 11-12 and September 29-30. The sessions begin Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and end Sunday at 5 p.m. Campers may bring their own horses or ride Hidden Creek's grand prix dressage horses, open jumpers, show hunters or incredible school horses. To ensure plenty of individual attention, enrollment is limited to eight riders per session. Required equipment includes hard hat and shoes with heals. Lunch is ordered out daily and all campers go out for a Mediterranean dinner Saturday night, dressed in riding gear, to discuss what they want to accomplished on Sunday. - July 7-8, 2008 Summer Horse Camp - This camp is for reders who are still learning to walk and have not had a lot of instruction on how to ride. students will be taught the basics of tacking up a horse, barn management, and lots of supervised riding time. We will alos be making horse related crafts.
- July 14-18, 2008 Summer horse camp for Novice Riders - This camp is for riders who have had lessons and can walk, trot, and have started to canter. These riders will enjoy lots of riding time, and will be taught the basic barn management. They will also enjoy swimming, horse related crafts, and possibly a horse show at the end of camp.
- July 21-25, 2008 summer Horse Camp for the Advanced Rider, Christiana, PA - This camp is for riders who have had lessons and can walk, trot, canter, and jump a course. The camp will include: daily riding lessons, pony cart rides, swimming, crafts, Presentations, and possible a horse show at the end of the camp. Riders may feel free to bring their own horse.
